Hi everyone,
First off, there are some incredible photographers in this section. Second, let me say I haven't really found my niche yet, so I've been trying a little of everything. I have only been shooting seriously for a little over a year and no means consider myself a no means consider myself a professional. This brings me to why I'm here.
A friend of mine invited us to attend their wedding in Disney World a few weeks ago. It was a very pretty casual, lax atmosphere for a wedding, so I shot throughout. When they had returned, I emailed them with some of the pictures I had edited. Apparently they liked them as the would like to pay me to shoot the reception that they are having for everyone that couldn't make it to the offical wedding.
Not only will this be my first paid shoot but it will be my first time having to rely soley on a flash. I have only used the on camera flash as fill flash for outside shot, but this event will take place in a hall with no natural light at all.
I've decided to buy a 430ex and have been reading up on bouce techniques. Any advice would be greatly appriciated as I really don't know what to expect.
Thanks
Kenn
**Here are some of the shots from the wedding. Their professional photographer was awesome for letting me shoot while he was doing his job.
