heheh....

unfortunately, time for a little rant again :(

My dad has gone down the coast for a work conference till wednesday night and he has taken my 10-20 which leaves me with a 24-60 and a 50mm. I thought to myself, alright, if i go anywhere ill take the k10d and get used to it before trusting with everything at indy. Just went downstairs and all that stuff is gone too.

He has taken ever single peice of camera equipment he/we owns including all the film stuff that he doesnt have film for anyway and hasnt used in months. Now ill have a day at most to get used to a camera that ive used for maybe 5 minutes since he got it. and in the meantime, ive lost the only lens that is ever on my camera. And i really wanted to go somewhere and take photos tomorrow :(

But i have my own stuff, its just he wants to use it too.

Dont know, just thought he would have realised id need time to learn how to use the new camera all over again. Everything on it is in a different spot to the 20D and at the moment its just confusing. Looks like im going to be screwing up a lot of indy shots

Just dont get why he took everything. Perhaps ill get it rubbed in my face that he got to go somewhere away from home again and i didnt (he has done that with sydney, melbourne and the gold coast several times now). Also have stopped believing his promises about taking me places to shoot. According to the last one i took notice of, we would have been to melbourne 2 months ago...

But then again, he only told me he was going for a night when he asked about borrowing my lens. Then i found out today that he is there for 4 days

he really is sometimes. and then there is the thing about getting the 12-24 repaired. All i said was that id pay for the repairs given he put in a little extra so i could get the 10-20. Now im the one stuck sorting out postage for it and getting in touch with CR kennedy. And he has been getting up me for not posting it, when for the last 4 days, i couldnt even sit up without throwing up

Thanks for the sunrise shot suggestions, looks like I couldn't get into the city before sunrise anyway, as I have to rely on public transport.
I can be there by 5.20 so I'll just whip up a time machine and take myself back a few months.

Looks like I'll just have to go have a wander around the local burbs, as there are plenty of things flowering, including a bunch of Jacarandas in the park.

I'd like to make it perfectly clear, that sunrises is not something I get up, but rather stay up for.
If I last that long and make it out, hopefully I'll have something to show for it.
Wish me luck.

I'm off to build that time machine.
