I picked up a 500gb, but I want to get some extra so I can actually have a better managed system of back-ups.

Lightroom is amazing, I didn't think it would be this fast.

Though the imrpoved sound quality is what has really gotten me hooked. going from crappy on board to decent on board. wow the sound is so much better.

My holiday project is going to be to set up a server using windows home server. fitted out with 2 x 500G drives and 2 old 80G drives that are in the PC ATM. The old drives are just going to the operating system and a some misc storage while the 500's will be the shared space.

Ive often thought of trying the markets thing. But honestly, i just want a boring old desk job in town doing admin or something IT related. Just want to catch the bus into town, do my how ever many hours and go home. And then every now and then, buy myself something camera related and go somewhere on a weekend and enjoy it.

Yeah, that's what the gameplan is after uni. My aunty works for Queensland Transport and is always reminding me that temp work or a traineeship is always an option that can be easily achieved with a little luck. Not to mention all the various pathways one could take to get into an admin job in the public sector...

Well thats got to be good news

[SUBliminal message]Go with a TPG ADSL 2+ plan. Good amount of bandwidth and noice and fast[/subliminal message]

Yeah, Mum asked the people up in Home Electrical at Myer (where she used to work) and they recommended TPG. I think when we did the last round of speedtest comparisons on this thread TPG proved to be the fastest, so it wasn't difficult to find a company to suggest in the first place. :)

Morning all. Just thought I'd post some pics. I had intended to join Greg and the others that went to Roma St Parklands the other weekend, but fiance's Christmas party the night before and was a little too hung over to make it. I was bitterly disappointed because I really want to practise taking macro shots, and I've seen Greg's macros in the past and know he would give valuable advice. I saw the shots you all took and regretted not being there.

Anyway, I decided to take myself to Mt Coot-tha's botanical gardens yesterday to get some practise on my own. And I also had taken some in the park out the back of my place at Auchenflower that I thought I'd share. If you frequent the macro forum you may have seen these already, sorry.
