Well, I tend to have at least 2 backpacks with me - so I choose the gear I think I will be needing and place it in the vest pockets - and off I go...

Generally, I am somewhere where the rest of the gear can sit in the back of the truck - or if I am interstate (excluding NSW) in the boot of the rental.

Temora is cool - Wardie and I have taken over a bit of land at the intersection of 2 runways and we can sit in our vehicles, wander around, take pictures. etc and not be more than 20 metres or so from our vehicles.

I don't even need the vest there ;)

Yeah - it's a bit far for you to go. Plan a family holiday down this way - about the time of the next show (early Feb) :D

They do a good show for us, in the main. One of the sad things, for example, is seeing Col Pay at the last one, and him dying in an air crash a couple of weeks later.

The guys that fly those planes do it for their pleasure, not just ours, and they sorta become 'family' because we see them so often.

I am currently at uni. Reason: fast internet allows me to see all the photos I've missed in the last 300 odd posts since my home internet became retarded. :p

The keyboards are also good too. I'm making a lot of mistakes because it's so sensitive, unlike the ones at home that have had only God knows what spilt on them. :|

Got around to scanning the roll of film i got developed last week. Turns out i should have used it up and developed it much sooner...

Hmmm... blue sky. Havnt seen that in a while :|

Yeah - overcast for two days in BV. What will we do?!! ;)

It was still partially cloudy but now with lots of visible blue sky as I was walking down George St from work. Just what I have been waiting for - I've gotta run now - I want some shots of North Quay and the Riverside Centre before it becomes overcast again. :p

Went to an early christmas dinner with my dads family on Saturday night. Was the first time the whole family has been together in one place since my cousins funeral back in March so it was nice.

Start things off with something totally not christmas...

Great selection of shots, Sam. I love the cat one.

I probably won't be on for a few days so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas!! (and a Happy New Year if I don't get back here until then) :D

So stay safe, eat plenty and enjoy yourselves. I'll look forward to getting out and about with some of you again in the New Year. :D

Thanks for the Christmas wishes Nick and I'd like to also wish all of you the best for Christmas and the New Year. Don't eat or drink too much and remember to keep safe, especially on the roads.

Looking forward to getting out with everybody in the New Year.

Lol we have had already had Christmas, well Christmas part 1 aka Icelandic Style. The presents have been given, the meal has been eaten and Helen took numerous Christmas tree shots that are downloading. Then it is off to bed for Christmas part 2 aka Australian Style in the morning.

Have a fantastic couple of days :D

I was in their 24-hour lab, there's one on each campus. Kelvin Grove and Carseldine have dedicated rooms, Gardens Point's 24-hour lab is basically cutting a small section of it that has external access off from the rest of the library.

I'm pretty sure all unis would have something like that. You'd hope so anyway. :p You could rock up at any time of the day or night, any day of the year and as long as you have your ID card to swipe through the reader on the lock there's nothing stopping you. :) Although I doubt you'd get much done when they do scheduled weekend shutdowns for system maintenance, etc. :P

Wow. :| That is a while. I haven't tried Ted's, I suppose it would give me an excuse to go in and have a look at what stuff they have, eh? :)

Yeah... Merry Christmas everyone!

We're hosting the family bbq this year so I don't think I'll get on the comp tomorrow. But rest assured, Greg, that I will eat my fair share of food. :p
