They werent too bad, especially after a run through noise ninja, but still...

I may have spoken too soon, in the time it took me to make some lunch, the blue has gone and black clouds are back...

How could i forget ;)

It's very blue and windy here now.

Hey - driving around Mt Nebo should be fun. Plenty of sideways action.... ;) Just ask Ruth. Just remember to take the camera gear with you.

Damn, if I'd been awake when you posted spammy, I could have come up and given you a REAL driving lesson!

There's a guy who lives up there (actually at Glorious) who has a hand-made sign up one of the trees reminding people of the speed limit - he obviously doesn't approve of the sports car / bike brigade.

I always make a point of driving at the speed limit when I see his sign - trouble is it's on a corner and the speed limit is 80 - makes for some fun sideways action and squealy wheels. Not sure that was his point, but I enjoy it!

Ruth.

thanks :) I'm craving wider angles so I can get closer... pretty much all my shots were right at 17mm. One day...

Most were between 3 and 6 seconds, iirc... I think the longest I did was 15, the shortest was 1/4 or so.

For those with OCAU accounts, take a read of this (external link). I know someone from here, Nerdy Nigel i think it was, had a bad experience with them too and so have i.

So, if you are in the city and want to look at camera gear, give Reiners the widest berth possible.

I've been in a couple of times - first time, when I bought my nifty there, they were very helpful, and keen to drop the price to get the sale. Second time re the 70-200 they were less than helpful. Therefore, no sale.

You can't even see any. It's all behind their counters. I can go into Ted's, PC's or Bentley's at Chermside and look at whatever I'm looking for and the only thing being between me and the item is the glass on the display case :)

Oh I can so see Rainer being harassed by Today Tonight at some point down the track. :D

Speaking of PC's... I got the photos from the last meet developed today, and I shall say that as a result the Siggie 12-24 has been bumped to the top of the list of stuff to get. :D

wow, just glanced out the window and spotted a fair bit of blue sky. Hopefully the clouds will roll away for a few days so i can go take some photos...

I think I might just wait a couple of days until we get a run of sunny, clear days. Gives me a chance to buy another polariser and some film.

Lovely shots Jim, I'm going to Mt Tambourine soon and want to get some shots like these.

Great Macros Sam, especially like the Hover Fly. Were these shot with the 50 and tubes?
