hmmmm...I might have to pop into Crumpler in the city and pick one up. Cheers for the info :)

I'd have taken the lens in and tried it yourself. You're never under any obligation to buy something then and there. :)

Yes I have the box.

As for my 'as new' 35mm f/1.4L I could be talked into parting with it. I still like it a lot though.:D

Hmmm, I'm not sure I have quite enough to talk someone into selling theirs (unless they hate it, and I've yet to find someone who does).

It's possibly bad internal wiring in your house. Try unplugging all the things on the phone line (phones, faxes, etc) except the router and one phone (preferably a simple phone) and see if it still occurs. Move the phone to another point and try again if it does.

If possible, move the router to another point and test again.

wakko wrote in post #4620127 (external link)
and how about DSL stability when doing a line isolation test? (router only, no filters etc).

it could potentially be the splitter? or have you tried that?

I know for my router, it's crap when using in DSL2 mode as the filters were only designed for DSL1 (slightly different frequency afaik).

Guess only things you can do are:

1. Phone isolation (which you've proven your line into your house etc is fine).
2. DSL isolation (test DSL stability ruling out filters, etc).

If that works, you have to focus on your filters making sure you get DSL2 certified ones... C10 (rebadged as jackson) are good, but I found they made no diff for my router (billion). I have a central filter which I'm procrastinating installing... that should fix it ;)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I passed them on to dad and he said he would play around again on the weekend. I also told him about the DSL1 and 2 filter thing and he said that could be it. We only really started having this problem when we moved over to the DSL2+.

Hell guys and girls, sorry to interrupt but I've got my 5d for sale in Brisbane - can send it interstate for cheap.

link:
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=430765

It's basically brand new and a month old. I only want $2600 for it and I'm including a sandisk 2g CF with it - next best price is just over $3200 for the body alone. It's an Aussie bought body so has full Australian warrantee etc.

Just a head up!
