I just found out that one of my core courses is full and i cant enroll in it. Kinda pointless offering a place in uni only to not have enough places in a class they have to do :|

As Dave said, you should just be able to pick it up next year (maybe even next semester if they offer it) and then delay some of your other courses a bit.

What is your main career objective post-uni? I'd say pick the one that is most relevant or most useful to that objective.

I have no main career objective :p. To be honest, there are so many things I'd love to do that I'm mainly picking courses based on how interested in them I am and then I'll deal with that whole career thing a bit later once I work out what I want to do!

Thats what i will be doing tomorrow.

I looked into doing that (well for 2nd semester anyway) and the other subjects i have to chose from are all at the gold coast campus and i would be expected to walk out of a lecture at Nathan at 10am and into another down the coast at 1030

The second year courses all have the first year ones as pre reqs

Bugger... definitely sounds like time to see your year co-ordinator on campus and try to sort that out. After all, if they've offered you a place, one would assume you should be able to take up that offer (and all that goes with it).

Thats what i thought too. And if they change their mind about my placement in the course, they can either give me the $115 i spent applying through QTAC or find me a place in another course.

Haha, I'm doing two already, I don't think I could handle 3! Or else I could, but I'd be at uni for ever. I'd love to do Journo, but I think I'm leaning towards Int'l Relations based on the facts that (a) I wouldn't have to stay there longer, (b) you don't need a Journo degree to be a Journalist, (c) Int'l Relations I imagine gives better job opportunities (at least in the sense that there are fewer Int'l Relations getting around than there are "Journalists") and complements the Law side better.

I think I just came to a conclusion with my dilemma. I'm now a student of International Relations :)
