Whoah! Gorgeous Helen.

BTW, someone was asking about Silica gel (or maybe that was in the Aussie thread?) anyway I found out you can get it in bulk:

Australian Chemical Reagents
19 Kensai st
Moorooka QLD

07 38484828

about $80 for 8 kg (apparently).

Nice photo Helen, our sunset had an eerie yellow glow about it, it was like I was looking through some kind of yellow diffuser.

Mm.. looks like my weekend will actually be the weekend once uni starts. 10am lecture on monday, 9am lecture on tuesday, 8am lecture wednesday and 8am lecture friday. And i have another lecture at the same times as the 8am wednesday one but i get a taped copy of it.

Oh and for the 8am ones, i have to leave here just before 6:30 to make the buses :|

I see myself becoming addicted to coffee this year...

Someone say coffee? The resident (self-appointed) coffee experts' ears prick up (that'd be me and Feng!)

goes to read what has been said in the last x hours.

Sky was stunning, but alas within a handful of minutes it had dulled. No time even to go onto Story Bridge to get shot back into the city

Did you see the similarly (ie really rich, deep) coloured rainbow? Stunning.

I pity you, Sam. If all goes according to plan with signing onto my classes (ie I get the ones I want), I'll have uni Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and a 4-day weekend :p

All day Monday and Wednesday, Thursday 9-10:30am. :p

Although I kind of cheated... :D

If its not before 3pm, i need a lot of caffeine and or sugar to get me going...

I'm kind of funny. If I have less than 4 hours sleep I am usually less cranky than I am if I get between 4 and 8. :|

QUOTED IMAGE

Being a Monochrome Group meeting night, naturally all I had was the 3000N with a roll of T-max in it. The whole trip out to Ashgrove I was going "dammit... dammit... dammit..." to myself. :| That sunset over the Brewery just seemed out of this world.

Nice shots Andrew and Helen.
That coloured light came out of nowhere. I was sitting at the kitchen bench for about 10 minutes, spun around on my stool and suddenly everything outside was doused in a pinky-orange light.
That would be the perfect light to have if you ever do a twilight Story Bridge climb.

When I went over the Story Bridge on my way home last night the sight was amazing. The buildings were silhouetted against the cloudy sky (with structure in the clouds) and there was this thin strip of bright colour around the base of each building. Was almost tempted to fake a breakdown and stick the hazard lights on in the middle of the bridge to get the shot ... but i thought better of it :D. Might have been a great HDR opportunity ;)

I swear the uni doesnt want me to do that course. I sent the school coordinator an email about the one that was full yesterday and she said they had found a larger room and it would be showing as open today. So i checked it just before, the lecture time and room has sure enough changed, but it is still full.

Anyone know of a half decent full time desk job going in town?
