Nice shots Andrew and Helen.
That coloured light came out of nowhere. I was sitting at the kitchen bench for about 10 minutes, spun around on my stool and suddenly everything outside was doused in a pinky-orange light.
That would be the perfect light to have if you ever do a twilight Story Bridge climb.

Wasn't it great - beautiful colouring.

When I went over the Story Bridge on my way home last night the sight was amazing. The buildings were silhouetted against the cloudy sky (with structure in the clouds) and there was this thin strip of bright colour around the base of each building. Was almost tempted to fake a breakdown and stick the hazard lights on in the middle of the bridge to get the shot ... but i thought better of it :D. Might have been a great HDR opportunity ;)

But only there for about 10 minutes. Was saying to Greg today that I wouldn't have had time to take camera over to Story Bridge to catch it - very limited opportunity.

Well I was working on the basis of one post every 3 hours from your last (8 posts per day). But seeing that you've now gone and posted three times in quick succession, much earlier than forecasted, I'm going to have to rework some of my calculations.

Well I'm thinking of popping down this weekend sometime with Helen and the bub...

I must say, and this is coming from a very fussy coffee drinker, that it really does crap all over Merlo... but it's all personal preference in the end.. I was just astounded that the coffee I had was sooooo strong, but it had no bitter/sour chaser... and it was soooo full bodied!!! mmm lovely :)

I'd be in for that... haha. :)

If you're referring to more of a tutorial-type arrangement then I would still do the same thing (i.e. just show up to one) if you haven't managed to secure a place. Particularly in the first year, there will always be people who have signed up to a certain time but pull out or simply never show up. (I know, because it was me :))

In some units you earn marks for tutorial participation. For a lot of people (myself included... haha) it can be the difference between a pass and a fail. They won't give you marks for being there if you're not on the list. Spam, I'd say ring your co-ordinator person.

Well, seeing as about half that 4,000 will have been in the Brisbane threads I'd have to say the chances of it being here are good.

As for time, if we examine just the very recent data, you've posted 5 times in the last 45 minutes giving an average of 9 minutes between posts. 7 posts to go gives us an estimated time of 5:07pm.

I'd probably allow another 10 minutes for the possibility of toilet breaks in that time and a completely arbitrary 34 minutes for a simple lack of activity period.

That gives me 5:51pm in the Brisbane POTN thread. :D:D
