1. Incense sticks and plain coloured backdrop
2. You can't change it to what you want. There's a 'Title Fairy' going around, if you say something silly they will change your title. It's not something to strive for.

I got two completely non-related questions.

1. Can someone 'teach' me how to do the coloured smoke shots
2. How many posts do I need to change the thing where it says "Member" to what I want?

2. -> can't, only the Title Fairy can change it - it changes on its own depending on how many posts you accumulate but otherwise.. no.

It would be nice if we could change it ourselves. I'm not real fond of 'Goldmember' or 'Cream of Corn' for that matter

Ask Spam. ;)

As far as I have deduced, first you have to get the attention of a moderator. Then it's however many it takes to say something that, when taken out of context, is either funny or embarrassing. Preferably the former. :p

DAdeGroot, REALLY nice pix on you site mate, I go to boarding school at Southport (Gold Coast) and did a night shot at Q1 and the rest of the city, have a look if you like. (In the Still Life section)

Noticed you had a pic of the ADD drift car Jake. I have a mate who was pretty heavily involved with those guys.

Nice pics from today too guys. Ashame I couldn't make it.

Sorry David, but huh? i think I'm having a dense moment

AWOTE = Average Wage Ordinary Time Earnings - it relates to the national average wage Aust-wide. In relation to the ad it probably indicates that it's equivalent pay of current AWOTE figures. Hang on - let me Google...

Yeah - it's around $1,100 per week, which relates to the upper end of the scale in the ad you quoted.

In plain English it means that the pay is equal (approx) to the national average pay.

That first one is amazing. Love how glassy you got the water :)

And thanks for the lift there and back today too :D

Yeah - the secret was a CPL filter... that and turning off the IS while on the tripod. The earlier ones were looking OK on the back of the camera - but in full resolution you can see the 'wobbles' from the IS :o

No worries about the lift.

Your ant is a cracker and I like your off camera shots from last night too - great approach for a party. Definitely have to get me a chord ;)
