QUOTED IMAGE

I am imposing a photo toll again. You can post as much as you want but your next post after reading this must include a photo.

Paul,

Love this one - looks a bit like the work Mike Langford showed during the course in NZ.

My moon shot from tonight. I didn't think it was too bad for a beginner!

Two more from me before bed time.
Just out of interest, the one of the flowers was f/1.8, 1/1000, ISO 100 and the chair at the Uni (near Goodwill) was f1.8, 5 sec exp, ISO 100. Both with the 50 (obviously). Any constructive criticism/thoughts on either? As I mentioned before, what I might consider as not bad might actually be not good, so to speak. No PP done, just uploaded (resized) as is.

Nick/Helen, stuff ordered... was pretty painless authorising my Cc ;)

Hmm, maybe I should consider doing it next time then.
If you want the money wired just let me know the details. Outside of doing that I can give it you when when we exchange goodies.

Yep. Doesn't take long to realise that the 200 doesn't quite stretch it.

Oh well, it's still 3 months til the wedding, so I have time to replace the money before then. And you have to prioritise - a one-day party, or a nice shiny lens I can use over and over again!

Luckily my fiance understands. I say yes to his irrational car purchases, and he can't say no when I want something then, can he? ;)

Hahaha... well at least you have someone that understands ;)

I just found out that not only did my dad today buy me the 10-20 and a stealth reporter d400 for himself, but he also bough a cokin filter holder and adaptor rings and a 100mm 2.8 macro

Is there any such thing as an irrational car purchase? .....

Well, no, not the cars as such.

It's the "I need another 1962 Bluebird parts catalogue, because the one I have has the cream cover, and they released it with a green cover, so it's different, isn't it?" that I'm talking about.

Not irrational as such, but a little obscure.

Here's a link to our website, with a list of our "irrational" car purchases over the years:

http://www.earlydatsun.com/us.html (external link)

And on this page is a photo of the book collection:

We're both as bad as each other, really.
