spider and friends

i thought i'd post some pic since i've been out and about the last week or 2, things are picking up insect wise, hope u like

the spider shot is awesome! and the pollen on the last fly is great.

the lighting on the hover is perfect and the colours are great a lovely set

Lovely set. Esp. like #2 and #3.

good series, presume the first to be Barkflies (Psocids).

Nice series. The lighting and detail in 3 is very good

The setup Steveo was the sig105mm with 68mm of kenko ETs, with the canon 580ex flash on a flash bracket with a home made defuser, i have the et's on just about all the time because i find when i don't i wish i did.

Excellent series Craig- wonderful colour, light and composition.
Love #1- assume they are lacewings?
Think the last fly must be a Tachinid.

Thanks Brian for the feedback, don't think they are lacewings, they are to small to be them, shot them with 68mm tubes and cropped the pic a little to get a better compo, the liuttle yellow blobs are their of spring

Beautiful shots Craig. I especially like #3 and 4 but the others are very good too.

Love the spider shot, has me hopin for the rain to stop and some sunshine so I can do some hunting of my own.
