The Lanc flew in to my local airfield on Saturday 15th to participate in a Battle of Britain day ceremony.

At 6pm, just as the sun started fading, it took off and did some flypasts over the airfield just as the local RAF cadets parade was ending with the salute.

Nice work chaps.

I'm impressed; well done *Zwitter*. I like them all but as the others have said the last one is "it"! I wanted something special for my 100th post; greats photos of a Lancaster what more do I need to say.

looked and saw #1, scrolled a bit and saw #2, thinking Hmm Lucky blighter then I saw #3 and that is absolutely breathtaking...

Cracking image, dof, Tv, sharpness and the warm tone and a nice angle. Splendid, splendid, splendid.

Anyone notice the open panel on her back about 6' back from the back of the cockpit navigation blister???

The last one looks great... hope you have it up on the wall somewhere ;)

Last one is the greatest. Makes me want to sit in the gunner seat on the tail of the wing. :)
