The first split second I saw this shot i thought - Blimey, great shot. However, I now find myself drawn to the blured edges - have you tried a 12x5 crop?

Looks like a Photoshop blur to me. Makes it look like a model, not real. Not doing it for me.

I agree it looks like a model. The blur is too much for me especially the edges.

Thanks for your feedback guys, first time playing with filters. Sure gives a weird perspective.

Might have been good to get real blur maybe being real close to the boat and having that and the sand in the foreground fill the frame and dominate.
