Visiting a local state park recently I got out of the car to shoot some vultures, one of them decided to see if I had left anything good in the car. I'm glad I closed the sunroof.

One more closeup as he didn't seem to want to leave.

Love the last one. This is one bird that has a face only a mother could love :) Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shots, and it is a good job you closed the sunroof, if he got inside it would have been a pain trying to get him out again.

If he's going to pose that well, the least you could do is give him a sandwich or something.

Nice shots! You didn't happen to hit any animals recently with your car or haul any hunting captures on the hood lately? Love the last portrait shot!

I'd have been worried he'd take my arm with it. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Crosswind81, it was shot with the 70-200 and 1.4tc until I can afford something a little longer it's the lens thats on my camera the most. Other than at infinity i'm having a little trouble getting used to the very shallow dof on the 100 macro.

Hey, be nice to Dan....thats good Canadian humour eh? Great shots of the vulture...its always hard to get the exposure on the blacks and these are spot on.
