Mark, there's a company in Hong Kong - Gadget Infinity, that has a radio shutter trigger for most Canon models. Looks like there's a sale going on for Canon models at $34.95. B&H or some other US stores charge US$99 for these.

I use one and generally, it has not failed me yet. The range is so so - mine fires reliably up to about 30'-40' or so, and yeah, it works around corners and walls most times.

CHEERS!

Editing welcome :D

Hey Mark,

Is that a special flash hider/muzzle break to cause the flash to go outwards?

That's a 7.62x51 huh? not the 7.62x39. Must have one heck of a kick.

Nice photos!

BTW.. you use a 5FPS burst for this? and just picked the best photo?

Thanks.

It's not really a special brake, but yes, it is a brake. I belive that Canonista was right in that it is a JP Enterprises brake. It dosen't really recoil that bad, but the noise and flash will shure rattle your brain a little. I shoot with an XT for now so I get 3 fps, but I dont use it very often. I just got plain ol' lucky on this one.

Thanks for the intel. I'll look into that!
