Group shots.

Wondering if you have some secret wedding photog techniques to get groups looking straight ahead and eyes open for group shots?

Spray and pray?

have you tried to tell them to close their eyes and in the count of 3 open it ?
It works for me.
I usually take minimum of 2 pics for group shot (especially if more than 5 person involved)

I try to get my face out from behind the camera, i.e. focus lock, move head and make a face or comment, they all look at you, hit the shutter, 5fps takes care of the rest....

Works fine hand held, works even better off a tripod.
