Pros use 400/2.8 and 300/2.8 lenses. You could rent these or at least buy a 1.4TC for your 70-200. I was more interested in the gear people were using and how they were positioned. Everyone has the long glass. From 300 f2.8, 400mm f2.8 a500mm f4 IS and 600mm f4 IS. Saw one guy with all 3 400-600 lined up on tripods. He was hopping between them depending on where the action was. That's a hell of an investment. Some of them I am sure rent, but that gets pricey after a while too.
