Hi,

take a look at this website:

http://interact10ways.com …formation_interactive.htm (external link)

But be aware, you might spend quite a bit of time there...

Best regards,
Andy

Which is a pity.

To explain it to all of those who can not access the site, it starts with a picture and allows you to select an area to zoom in.

Once you zoom in, the pixels of the original photograph are represented by smaller images (of a certain predominant colour matching the colour of the pixel) on which you can zoom in again ... and so on ... and most of the images are quite nice.

There is software out there that does this ... like this one: http://www.engadget.com …e-your-own-photo-mosaics/ (external link) and http://www.andreaplanet.com/andreamosaic/samples/ (external link)
But in Real-time, it's quite cool.

Reminds me a lot of those fractal images I used to calculate on my C64 ... back in 83 I think.
Without the 8 hour wait needed to calculate a new image, of course ;-)a

Best regards,
Andy

The imageries they use for dark images and light images are very contrasting in nature. Very cool link.
