Best Head-on Pass

Here are 2 from the Blue Angels. I can not believe how hard it is to just get 2 of them in the frame let alone with them close.

Here are a couple Blues crosses not the greatest , some days are diamonds and some days are stone. Taken at La Crosse Wisconsin May 19th 2007.

Here are a couple Thunderbirds from last year at Gary Indiana.

Very nice shots. I like #1 & #4 the best. Those are tough shots to get.

I used my 100-400 to get those. I don't know what andrew used.

Usually all my aviation shots are with the 100-400MM. Thanks for checking out my site, And thanks for the kind words.

Good shot. I really like the smoke trails. They look good. I guess you needed that 1200mm 2.8 with IS to get that shot.

a 1200 would be nice .... very nice. but that pic is almost 100% crop at 200mm hand held.

Very cool smoke trails donboy. Those look like nasty clouds in the background. Did it rain at all at that show?
