I had the "pleasure" of dog-sitting for my brother today while he was at work. Upon chasing this little devil around the yard for an hour, I decided to "use" him to test my new Canon 17-40L. My brother's girlfriend is away and will miss the dog (brother=debatable) terribly until she returns, so I'm sending these to her. Love the lens... the dog.. well, he CAN be nice when he's not being a terror:

You got some nice shots of this Pom. I'm sure the girlfriend is going to love them. And yes, Poms can be holy terrors. For some reason I like #1 peeking out of the grass and while I'm not a big fan of "odd angle" shots, I think #3 is nice -- might do some PPing to get his left eye out of the shadows a bit.

Thanks very much! #1 was taken when he was hiding in the flower bed outside my room, squashing my cosmos. #3 was actually a lucky shot because he wouldn't look at the camera, so I held my arm out and down and hoped the AF would do a good job. Working on the shadow now... and need to buy ink for my Canon Pixma Mp460 because I seem to be out of cyan. crap
