Spring Flowers

I started out in the Bot gardens today with the MP-E65 but with the strong winds I soon found I was wasting my time. I needed a Auto focus lens to have any chance of getting a shot as in the strong wind the MP-E65 was both front and back focusing.:p

try flash if its windy, or holding the plant if possible helps. or a friend can give a helpful hand to steady the flower. great dof use in this one.

Thanks, I did have the flash on but switched off for this. These flowers were bending almost 90deg in the wind. Not a good day for flower macros but it was my lunch break and I needed the break from my desk.

haha i hate it when that happens, always seems to blow right as you get it how you want.
