I was taking local flora shots for documentation and this wasp flew in close. I did a lot of searching but could not find a match. it is very close to a lot of the species i saw but there was a few things that said it was not a match.
one is the thorax, its black yellow and orange. paper wasps only are orange and yellow, yellowjackets and the likes only black and yellow.
the next is how theres no segments of color on the rear end. very light yellow and some gray spots with some coloring near the top end.
it was pretty large as well.
