If I were to buy a new Canon D-SLR (perhaps the 5D) that does not come with a warrenty, does anyone know if I can buy the standard 3 year warrenty afterwards? If so, how much may this cost, and how would one go about it?

Any help appreciated...

As long as you have all the serial number.. that's what they want anyway, that's why they always need a receipt. It's for the serial number. maybe its not too late

my 5-year mack warranty for the 5D was $99.

you can buy a Mack warranty within 30-days but email them they'll often let you purchase within your factory warranty period.

also you can buy used warranty from them very reasonably priced might i add.
