I had a challenging shoot last Saturday, mind day in the full force of the African sun, about 70 crying running sugar high toddlers.

I would appreciate some crit/comments/suggestions on these.

PS I'm always so scared to post pix - but I'm really feeling brave today

Not sure I care for the tilt and crop of #1.
#2 isn't bad, it works for me. Usually I would have said a tad too much contrast/saturation for my taste but again it works for me in the 2nd.

YOur exposures look good considering the bright sunlight. The only other thing you could have done would be to use your flash... Expose for the sunlight behind the subject, and then your subject would be underexposed, so the flash would serve as the main light for the subject... does that make sense.

The children are adorable.. love the little freckles on their cheeks & noses...

I think these turned out pretty good. The tilt doesn't bother me, but we all see different things and that is the beauty of this forum. I do agree with Kristy about the fill flash.

Don't be scared to post. We are not bad people here at POTN:)

Love the contrast between the vivid yellow and the freckles! yeah, that would be tough to shoot, you did good.

Not a fan of the angle shot though, must be a techno thing from my building days...every line must be straight .... aaaaaggghhh! lol
