Sting in Honey

Hiya all,

Just the one shot of a Bees Sting, I opened a jar of Honey & there, just under the surface was a weird looking bit of something so of course out came the camera to see what it was, lo & behold tiz a Sting, now I've heard of food having a good bite to it but never a Sting

IQ is poor I'm afraid as no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the Sting any nearer the surface of the Honey for fear of wrecking it plus the lighting was a nightmare you can almost make out the Granulation of the Honey above the finer end

Depending on conditions sometimes I get a 1 percent keeper rate and feel good about it...

Some poor bugger must have the rest of it in their jar

I wonder if the Venom of the Sting is still active of if it was killed off in the production process, guess I'll never know just glad I didn't swallow & find out the hard way eh

I got a feeling there are some wings a bit further down in the Jar & some other bits, I'll ave a dig around & see what I can find & get some more shots
