Great shots. Not sure if you're looking for comments so I won't butt in. But if you're looking for a critique, say so and I'd like to add how I might have done it :)

I'd love any hints you can give me.. this was the first time I had shot Rough Riders.. normally I shoot equestrian events.. and I've been invited to shoot several upcoming Rough Rider events.. :)

The angle you had produced some obvious great shots. I would have also however, moved over to the other side of the arena so you could get the faces of the riders just as they were cuttin the barrel.

For example, in the middle picture, if you were standing roughly where you can see the paint horse without a rider, where the little girls are, that would have been a good spot to get a different angle of faces.

You could also try sitting/straddling the fence as it will put you up a little more on level with the riders and provide for a little different angle.

Thanks :)

I'll have to scout out better locations, for the next shoot.. :) this last time, I happened upon this event, shortly after the equestrian events.. this was also, the last barrel race of the day, so I didn't get too many shots of the Rough Riders...
