I'm looking for the guy who purchased my original 20D back in the Winter/Spring of 2006. Sorry, I forgot who you are. :( Get in touch with me if you're out there.

It's not very helpful, but here's the original sale thread:

I found the guy by looking through my PayPal transaction history. Joy!

Please provide some insight into your quest.

I bet you left a CF card of some of your late night indiscretions and your afraid of your wife finding out ;).

I'm also curious to find out why you wanted to contact the buyer myself... Did you secretly laser engraved your bank account number on the computer board and now just remembered it?

LOL

No it's more for sentimental reasons. It took all these photos from my second tour in Iraq. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=158958 I plan on getting all those images published via Blurb and would like to have the camera + lens displayed with the book in my home.

Sadly, the buyer informed me he no longer has it and switched over completely to Leica. :(

Oh well.

I remember seeing that thread. Good job LM! It's still in my head to go in for that. But the Navy isn't cooperating and the army right now seems to only need grunts and no specialized areas.
