A few weeks ago I saw a little automotive gem in the picturesque city of Bergen-op-Zoom in Holland ... a Fiat 600 L.

While those were once often seen (some 50 years ago) they are quite rare nowadays - especially showing the 'ancient' black license plates that were used in Holland from 1973 to 1978. So obviously the owner of this little car has been holding onto it qor quite some time.

The second image shows the car in its setting (in front of the 'Markiezenhof' palace that was built in the 15th century) which fitted it quite nicely.

Both images taken with 20D and Tokina 17/3.5 AT-X Pro, f/4, ISO 1600.
First at 1/30, second at 1/50.

Best regards,
Andy

Pretty light, but I'd like to see more of it in #1.

More of the light, or more of the car?

More of the light, I have.

20D + Sigma 30/1.4 EX, f/4, 1/30, ISO 1600.

These were taken at about 21:30 at night, so it was a bit dark already.
Actually, it is artificial light from the street lamps.

Best regards,
Andy

Andy, Those were lovely looking old cars, and I like what you have done in the first shot, but because they are so rare, I have to agree with Frank about wanting to see more of the car. The interiors are very spartan, but neat in a quaint sort of way. Believe it or not, I have actually seen a couple of these on ebay being sold in that United States. One was in Utah.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.
