Here's a thought, how about we just start being more careful with our cameras...

I read the Canon only charge £10/$20 for a new screen protector fitted, so don't waste your money on anything and wait to see if you ever do scratch it (which I doubt)

After playing with It I had to get one for my camera. It helps you review your shots in bright sun light and Keep the screen and buttons clean.

I've tried one of those, you can't use an eye piece extender with it, also I try not to chimp too much especially at off road races, it's a little too dangerous to keep looking down. I couldn't use anything that would make me take longer to check my shots.

I use one of those and like it for viewing in the bright sun. The hood comes off in less than a second, so I remove the hood while shooting if I want to be able to quick view my pics.
