I sometimes use the Auto Bracketing feature on my XTi, most of the time I set it to -2, 0, 2.
After this is set and I go back to the viewfinder, it shows three different pointers on the light meter.
If the middle one is slightly to the left of the center, meaning my normal exposure is underexposed, the pointer on the right is two stops to the right of that one.
But the left-most pointer is still only at -2 on the meter.
My question:
Does this mean that I'm only getting say a -2, -2/3, 1 1/3 bracket?
Or is this just a factor of the light meter not being able to show how far it really goes?
I hope you can understand my question.
I'm quite bad at getting my point across.
