40D Lightroom RAW trouble...

Has anyone else had any trouble getting Lightroom to download RAW files? I even went on-line to make sure I had the latest version....

How are you connected to your files? Direct to camera or using a card reader?

Import from Device got broken in the 1.2 update on Windows, but there are some workarounds until it's fixed.

Can you import correctly if you manually copy them to your hard drive?

Yes. What I ended up having todo, was import the images using DPP, then bringing them through from there. To import the images, I plug the CF card into the PC via the card reader, in the PC tower.

I have had no problems importing 40D imagas as JPEG.
