Hey guys, I'm seeing a lot of great work here and it's been quite an inspiration. Did an informal shoot today for a friend, thinking about doing more of these for pay as I improve. As such, I'm hoping to get some C&C from the seasoned Transportation shooters in this section.

I kept 16 shots from the day, here are my three favorites:

Im not the best But I think your set is pretty good. I think a few more without such a tight crop would look good. especially off center because your background looks nice

I'm not a seasoned transport shooter, but i'd say these are pretty good, some are a bit tightly composed, but maybe thats just my taste. if you really wanna improve your pictures, try replacing your d50 with a canon DSLR of your choosing :p. Just kidding...

Pixel peeping is like count the sides of a circle, pointless.

Much like Real Estate, one of the biggest things is location, location, and location. Cars & houses in the background are the biggest detractors here.

good choice of cars, looks like he has moved his s2000 badge to the trunk, and removed the rear H.

I agree the background makes the photo. I would have tried to include a photo of the instrument panel, or pushbutton start.

I think they are pretty good, but would be better with a better backround. Not a fan of neighborhood pics. A less busy backround will make for better pictures imo. Overall nice pics.

Thanks for your comments, everyone!

I definitely agreed with the comments regarding the location of the shoot. It was my biggest complaint and hurdle to work around during the shoot, but I also didn't want to have to drive around to scout for a location to shoot since the car is pretty much stock and I was doing this for free anyway! I like shooting in parking garages, they always lend themselves to a nice feel.
