Baby cricket and Hoverfly facial

Both images taken yesterday, hopefully both don't suffer from the darkness issues that my images have had the past week or so The baby cricket has been around for a few days, but haven't been able to really get a decent shot of it, it's VERY nervous and keeps hiding. I was spoilt yesterday afternoon though by 2 hoverflies deciding to rest on branches on a tree Shot is of course, a crop, since I don't have a MPE-65 - yet. I was happy it came out this good, there was a nice breeze yesterday arvo and I had feared that it would ruin all shooting.

Now they are terrific shots Dave. Definitely not dark.

#1 is wonderful. The detail and lighting are superb.
