Tiny fly and waiting Lynx spider

Took the tiny fly shot yesterday, this is a 100% crop, so it's quite tiny. Really is a mpe-65 job given it's size, but still happy with how well the 100% crop turned out. Sorry about the 'from the top' shot, was very awkward to try and get a side on or 3/4 shot, and wouldn't have shown much of the lovely wing detail etc. I think I've seen Brian post a shot of a similar looking fly in the past, but have buckley's chance of finding the post in question lol, so hoping Brian can

The Lynx spider was taken a week or so ago (I have a back log of images to process lol) and was flipped vertically to make the shot more appealing. I think it has a rather majestic pose

That fly is excellent, even if it is a top-down shot. Nothing wrong with showing those wings.

Thanks Bernie It's a wonderful looking fly I thought. I don't know whether it's the warmer weather (not that where I live actually gets cold lol), but I'm seeing more insects now, which is pretty cool.
