Zoom lens for Canon 30d opinions needed

I'm looking for an extra zoom lens for my canon 30d. I like to keep the price under $200. From what I see its the Tamron AF70-300 f4-5.6 DI LD lens or the Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 APO DG lens. Any thoughts or and opinions. I am not set on those 2 companys. Thanks
