BeefandGravy Hatchling 7 posts Joined Sep 2007 More info | Sep 23, 2007 12:21 | #1 I'm looking for an extra zoom lens for my Canon 30d. I like to try to keep the price under $200. From what I see my main choices are the Tamron AF70-300 f4-5.6 DI LD lens or the Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 APO DG lens. Any thoughts and or opinions. I am not set on using those 2 companys. Thanks

JackProton Goldmember  2,348 posts Joined Feb 2007 More info | Sep 23, 2007 16:37 | #2 Both are pretty good telephotos for the money. I think you'll be happy with either though there seems to be more users with the Sigma APO. I picked up the old non-DI Tamron a few years back.
