Used to get loads of them around but guess the weather was not right this year.

#1 was with the 105mm , #2 &3 with the MPE-65. All the shots are focus stacked. As Jay pointed out I didn't quite get all the stack slices correct.

Dave P - not using a tripod but for shots 2&3 I managed to manoevre the crane fly down on to the grass so I was resting the lens on my hand on the ground.

I always expect to see smoke coming out of their nostrils- always remind me of hollywood style dragons.
