I think the 'too close' or 'wider' shot is really dependant on the person and the mood and changes shot to shot. Nice shot, although the tones look a bit weak, ie. the shot looks a bit flat. How did you convert to b/w?

Sep 24, 2007 09:15 | #3 Thanks Dave. I played with curves then used selective desaturation + hues, then 95% desaturation. Was going for a 'soft', dreamy look to it.

What can you tell me about how it was shot - lens, etc. All tips welcome. I agree with the lighting comments.
