2 RAW questions......

1) Book with the best info on the procedure for RAW processing and
workflow.

and

2) I just started experimenting with RAW after all these years to unlock
my gear potential....however, after I dumped the RAW images into the
PSE 4 program to process, I found the image to be extremely grainy. I
then tried to process it in Zoombrowser, and the image appeared
normal. Any idea why the image in PSE looks grainy in one program
and not the other? Am I doing something wrong? Im concerned
because I would rather process the images in PSE. I know its hard
to visualise what Im talking about without pics, but Im at work
now, sorry.
