I just shot my second wedding as an assistant. I spent alot of time coordinating the shots. This was really a challenging wedding. The wedding was planned in a month to accomidate her dying father - her father showed up late and missed the ceremony. A woman kept taking pictures with her 35mm that didn't zoom so she got right up in the bride and groom's face most of the ceremony. Everything was held outside in the backyard of a small individual house - read no background. The ceremony was held under a tent, stairs led to the deck in daylight, and the deck was under another tent with different shading. I got an extreme crash course on lighting. Luckily, the primary had a flash that he was using to fill everything in.
All things considered, I think that I did much better than my first wedding, I had alot of fun, and I didn't have much post processing to do, which is amazing for me! I'm really looking forward to C&C.
Thanks!!!!
Stacie
