Wow.

How in the world did you set up to get that shot? When I try this, my working distance is in CMs; so close the mantis is backing away.

lol..freeze my pet..hehehe im not that crule..i disergree in any freezing of insects..imo if u cant take a pic of an insect with out it being frozen then dont bother trying..i want this guy to live for 2 more years freezing him aint going to help..lol..so no i didnt freeze him.he poses well..;)

hes my pet..i had him since he was a baby..he trust me.;) more shots coming later..i have come to the conclusion that not many people like my posting pics of him eating spiders..lol..so in future il be posting pics of him posing not eating:lol:

i only lightley sprayed it once..its just like when it rains out side.:lol: and where it lives in a tank its got heat mat and its warm..he will be fine..spraying it every day mayby but that was only once off.:cool: thanks for your concern,,:)

Excellent shots M-J.

As far as feeding goes, that's nature. I won't help anything that's caught, but neither will I help in the capture.

As far as viewing pictures, then it's down to personal preference. As long as they are appropriately titled, then I see no problems.

damn amazing shots junkie, number 4 and 6 are sick. great honeycomb detail in the eyes! oh and the eating shots are great. not everyday we see a mantis munching something down for dinner.
