On #2 Photo, the detail of the head with the facial hair is just so very clear and sharp. The head detail just reminds me of a soldier that is ready for battle.

You did very well for getting up close without any motion and movement of the little critter. Overall nice photos.

That Raynox certainly looks to be a poor man's MPE.

#2 is superb. I cannot see any degradation in image quality. I think they may have another sale... ;)

Nice shot - the Raynox looks like a very interesting addition - it won't be long before I get one on order too!

Two gorgeous shots Brian - the one with the Raynox is fantastic and good to see a comparison of using that lense with and without the Raynox.

So can you just clarify for me so that if I decide to buy one I get it right lol, the one you and Alby are using is the Raynox DCR-250, it clips onto the lense, and in my case would be either 60mm, 100mm or 72-200 - the one attachment would fit all threee of these?

Thanks
Linda

Thanks Linda. Yes I am using the DCR 250. It will fit your lenses ok. Yes it just clips on to the front of the lens. The longer the focal length of the lens the higher the magnification will be.

It's a lens that goes on the front of your lens to give you more magnification.

Excellent shots :)- assume these Raynox lenses must be doublets judging by the lack of chromatic abherations ?

Excellent shots Brian, very impressed with them. Raynox lenses seem to be the thing to have.
