Nice series I really like the effect of #1 would have looked even better with more DOF but as you said the conditions were aganst you

Beautiful colors on these, I don't know where you guys find all these great insects. The dragonflys around here are kind of dull.

Excellent series, and a very pretty Dragonfly to boot. My fave is #3 for the tigher crop/better composition, but I really like #1 as well for the same reasons that you mentioned Jim. I don't think the wings are too OOF. Any reason for natural light?
