Pity about the angle he was sat on that twig. It does detract from the picrure a bit, particularly in #2.

My fave is #3 for the tigher crop/better composition, but I really like #1 as well for the same reasons that you mentioned Jim. I don't think the wings are too OOF. Any reason for natural light?
