Thanks.. Fast would be a good setting to try. Not sure if it is "must". The best zoom lens is two steps forward, and the best wide angle lens is two steps backward.

Try noral down to slowest and see which works better for your stlye of shooting. Gear List? My gear is bigger than yours? Just shoot have fun...

I shoot birds in flight with the center focus point and the sensitivity set to slow and have had good success with the Mark 3 since firmware 1.10 Any faster and I lose the focus. You need to experiment and see what works for you. If you do set it to slow you need to remember to pump the focus button if you lose focus. For me, It's too slow to reacquire if you don't. I never have used the 45 points. I didn't on my Mark 2 either.
