California HS Football

My brother in law is a high school QB so I went to a couple of his games. I don't know if I'm going to shoot it anymore...it's really, really hard to track the ball through a lens and half the time, my 200mm isn't long enough. I was going to try the 600mm but f/4 is too slow for night games.

These were shot using my 20D and 580EX at ISO 1600, f/3.5, 1/320 (thanks to instruction from Dwight McCann).

For the flash do you just dial it up and leave HSS on?

Yep. It works out well when they're close.
