Sep 25, 2007 21:55 | #7 I have been told that this is a crane fly by someone else and I believe it must be family of them although there are some differences. The info I received said that they fly around lights at night and come into houses. Joan Young

Sep 26, 2007 10:34 | #10 I confirmed today that it is a Crane fly. Apparently here in SA we have a few hundred species and the only difference is in the sizes. The best way to check is to sneeze in close vicinity of it. If one of it's legs falls off, it is a crane fly LOL!! Good one Bernie!! Joan Young
