just a strange looking one to me. sorry about the bad pic couldn't get close to this guy. severe crop on the second one to show detail.

I agree with Scott...lovely face and neat pic. I am wondering what the yellow with the black spot is on the top above the eyes is? Any idea?

Nice find Bill - shots arent that bad, and I always say better a shot thats reasonable than no shot at all :-)

Looks like it could be a Green Darner - gorgeous DFs and wish we had them here in the UK, I think there may have been the odd migrant, but who knows we may get more one day.

As Linda said, it's best to capture something.

The number of times I have tried to get a better shot, and lost the opportunity.
Having said that, the pics aren't that bad at all. :D
