What do you guys think of this photo? is there some way i can improve? I am very knew to photography.

The story was that there is a huge accident at the corner to the right and the Fire commander is blocking that lane and I just think it looked good.

Sorry, but the shot doesn't do anything for me. It doesn't tell a story - possibly you could have included the occupant of the vehicle in the shot (command staff are always good for expressions of concentration or concern on their faces), or possibly a view which would capture the unit and the incident scene if it was close enough. This shot just looks as though he's possibly making a u-turn and attempting to access the scene. If you are a "buff" and simply wanted to capture a view of the vehicle then you succeeded.

I agree with DM. I'm in the fire service and didn't find this picture interesting. It doesn't tell a story. Did you get any shots of the accident itself?

Thanks for the commets, and the welcoming. I did get some shots but they were blurry as i did not want to use flash and i had no tripod. It was a big accident and i did not want to look like i was snooping or anything so i just left and on the way back home I just took this shot. It wasn't anything more then a shot of the truck its self.
