Ok, so now that I have two bodies, I'm posting pics of how my 7MDH setup looks now. The Tok's hood is pretty big and takes up more than my Sigma did, I think. It still works out with it and the Nifty on one said though. So here, take a look.

Top to bottom, left to right: Nifty, Tok 11-16, 430EX, AA's & CF cards

So there you have it. Stuff to the brim, arguably I could fit one more lens in there but it would be overstuffed and here it all fits very nicely and everything can be pulled out easily. Perfectly snug. If I do need space, that's what the Large Bundle is for, it can hold two smaller primes or a flash or a fat lens like a UWA.

Small review on the Crumpler Industry Disgrace. I just got it and it is awesome! I still love my POTN neckstrap but this is great. If I only had one camera, I'd still choose the POTN neckstrap over the Crumpler as it fits perfect around your neck...and, well maybe.

See, what makes these two a great team is the extended length of the Crumpler. I can really let that thing hang and it's a lot less that the stupid R-strap or whatever it's called. So I wear the Crumpler across my chest and the camera hangs ready for me to whip up my 40D & 70-200 while the 20D and whatever smaller lens I have hangs from my neck.

I'll post pictures later. I love being able to wear the camera acorss my chest as it doesn't bounce when not in use and it's like a messenger bag. Just hangs freely, doesn't really sway and your hand can rest on it holding it in place. I tried this with the POTN strap and it works, it's just tight, on me, but I'm an average build and height of 5'9" and 160lbs.

So there. Like I said, I'll get pics up but for now, I totally support the Industry Disgrace. It's not as big as it looks and it feels so comfortable and lays so well around your neck or shoulder.

EDIT: PICS!!! If you want pics of the actually strap, just visit Crumpler. Not much more to see. Just goes to show you though that despite the camera, slow SS sucks on a tele. THese were quick and I just used the settings I had. I think it was 1/50 F2.8 at 70. Ugh. Plus I'm out of the light.

Which crumpler bag can comfortably fit 1D2,17-40, 70-200 and a flash?
I am thinking 6MDH but I just want to be certain. ;)

Thanks!

6MDH easily. Body on its own upright in the middle, 17-40 and flash on one side and 70-200 on the other. Pretty much how I travel with mine if going light.

Darn you! I want some and I could use some Bundles and Thirsty Als. Just noticed your sig, linking it to the thread. Awesome! Changing your avatar, haven't seen ya around in awhile or maybe it was just the avatar.

Get friendly with your local crumpler store staff ;)

Yeah, havnt been posting much other than the two local threads. Just a bit here and there in a few archive threads.

I wasn't aware that there is a dedicated Crumpler thread. I posted in the "Show me your camera bag" thread, but have copied the post here:

---

Since the Crumpler Million Dollar Home series aren't available here in Norway I ordered the 6MDH unseen from BH PhotoVideo in USA. (Which went really well btw.. I ordered on a Wednesday evening and UPS delivered it at my door on Friday!)

My plan was to use it when I only want to bring one camera, a couple of lenses and a bottle of water, which it works great for. It can fit quite a lot, it is comfortable to carry and looks nice too. I am very happy with it.

I hadn't read anything about using it for two cameras, so I was happily surprised to see that my favourite kit (ungripped 5D and 450D, plus 24/2.8, 35L and 135L) fits just fine. Both cameras can have lenses mounted. 35L with hood with no problem. 135L hood may have to be reversed for the best fit if the lens is mounted. In the center compartment I usually keep a bottle of water and the 24/2.8.

Another kit I like to bring is 5D, 450D, 17-40L, 50/1.4 and 100/2 (great for traveling too).

The velcro is very noisy, but since I often shoot in town (and not weddings and other "quiet activities") I actually like that, because it means I would know if someone tries to get into the bag. :)

Not a problem. Will see if I can grab a photo of how I have it set up when I get home from work.

How well does the 7MDH keep out dust/dirt since it doesn't have a zipper?

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem.

Just ordered a 7MDH after reading this thread for the umpteen time haha...

It'll be holding a 1D+24-70, 70-200 an either 17-40/135 and 50 1.4 and a 580EX. Not sure if the 6MDH will fit all that but just to be sure, I ordered the 7.

All I need to carry is a xxD body, EF-S 60mm macro, MR-14EX ring flash, intraoral mirrors, and standard accessories (charger, extra BP-511A, extra AA batteries, lens/body caps, etc.)

5MDH (for $52 shipped) or 6MDH (for $65 shipped)? Never found any local dealers that sell either of them to see the actual size.

I started a separate thread about this, but just in case people missed it...

For those of you considering the 7MDH, there is a new generation 7MDH that just came out. The main change is that there are now two clips that secure the front flap, versus the single one. It also comes in slightly different colors.

Also, for those of you who want a bigger bag, but smaller and less $$$ than Brazillian, there is going to be an 8 Million Dollar Home which comes with a built-in laptop sleeve. The 8MDH is not out yet, but will hopefully be at retailers in March. Price is supposed to be "around $180" is what I was told.
